The timeframe of these internships is June 22nd, 2007 - January 4th, 2008.

Internship 1 - Support the Logistics Project Manager in two key transportation projects, analyzing RFP responses, data analysis and recommendations. Overall Product Flow Optimization - Evaluate third party solutions to lower overall transportation spend, while meeting customer service policy requirements. Network Optimization - Domestic product flow route and capacity opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
* High degree of communication skills
* Strong financial assessment skills
* Understanding of the budgeting and planning process
* Acute attention to detail and analytical acumen
* Demonstrated influencing and partnering skills
* Self-starter, able to accomplish tasks on own initiative
* Demonstrated ability to drive business results
* Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of transportation modes (e.g., truckload, LTL, package, bulk rail, or intermodal)
- Ability to balance multiple priorities at once and manage time appropriately
- Knowledge of carrier operations and pricing mechanics

Internship 2 & 3: Assist Logistics and Supply Chain Engineering Managers with projects for The Walt Disney Parks and Resorts (WDPR) Segment. Responsibilities include: conducting data analyses, compiling project documentation, scheduling/attending meetings, preparing PowerPoint presentations.

Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and with Cast Members at all levels.


Additional Information:
1. Students who apply have to be currently enrolled at a College/University in the United States.

2. Graduating seniors cannot apply for an internship that begins more that 6 months after their graduation date.

3. Housing - There is limited housing available. Casting will discuss with student when/if they are offered a position.

4. Transportation - All Professional Interns must provide their own transportation to and from Orlando, as well as have transportation
during their internship.

5. Benefits - This is a Casual Temporary position, so there are no health benefits associated with the intern roles. However, students will
receive the CT Seasonal Maingate Pass, with 6 entrances for the Cast Member and 3 guests.
