Directions to Southeast Probability Days
By car entering Atlanta from I-20 or while travelling north on I-75 or
I-85:
I-75 and I-85 merge in Atlanta to form I-75/85. (If you are on I-20,
go north on I-75/85 in the center of Atlanta.) Exit the expressway at Exit
100 which is the Spring St. and West Peachtree St. exit. Turn left at
the second light onto West Peachtree St.. Turn left at the first
light onto North Ave.. Travel west on North Avenue and follow the
signs to the "Center for the Arts". (These signs will ask you to turn
right onto Tech Parkway which is the second traffic
light along the GT campus, then turn right at the first light, and
then immediately turn right onto Ferst Drive.) Now go to the parking
directions section below.

Parking: There are 2 options:
For the brave of heart: As you turn onto Ferst street, turn left into
the 2nd driveway on the left just past the parking structure. The
Student Services Building is directly in front of you across the
parking lot. The talks will be in Room 117. Park in any legitimate
parking spot even if you don't have an A05 sticker. You may get a
parking ticket. Rumor has it that if you are NOT from Georgia Tech,
you can write visitor on the ticket along with the reason for your
visit to campus and the ticket will be voided. Lorraine might be able
to help you with this.
For the faint of heart: As you turn onto Ferst street, immediately
turn left into the first driveway and follow the signs to the visitor
parking area. I think there is a fee of $4. To get to the Student
Services building walk through the parking structure to the building
at the other end. The talks are in Room 117.
By MARTA: Take the North-South Marta train ($1.50) to the North
Avenue exit. The station is on the northeast corner of West Peachtree
and North Ave.. Walk west along North Ave. past the Varsity and over
the expressway. After the football stadium take the steps up and
enter the campus. Walk diagonally across the campus and ask some
students where the Student Services Building is located. You will
probably have to walk through the Student Center due to construction
for the Olympics. The talks are in Room 117.
