ISyE 3025 Engineering Economy
A web-based course in Methods of economic analysis in engineering, including time value of money,
equivalence, economic measures of worth, selection rules for alternatives,
income taxes and equipment depreciation, inflation, and uncertainty.
The lectures for this course are delivered entirely via videos accessible
on the web. On campus the access is by T1 lines; off-campus a 56K modem
should be used. The RealPlayer G2 video player with Netscape 4.6 or higher
is needed to view the lectures; this is available free on the web from the
Realplayer site if you do not have it installed on your PC. The ISyE and ME
undergraduate computer labs are equipped with the necessary software, and
headphones are available.
All course documents, such as latest news, schedules,
administrative items, homework assignments, bulletin board, grades, etc.,

ISyE 8852 Topics in Logistics: Performance Analysis of Distribution Center Operations
A course that focuses on the analysis and design decisions that a planner might face in configuring a busy distribution center. Major focus is on operational performance of subsystems and the overall system. Particular attention is given to stochastic environments.
