About Me:

I'm a Ph.D. student in Operations Research at ISYE - GATech. I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematical Engineering (Applied Math) and also a Master in Operations Management, both degrees obtained in the School of Engineering of Universidad de Chile.

For my Master Thesis I developed a Mixed Linear Integer model for Production Planning in Salmon Industry. You can find it here [pdf] (in Spanish).

My Ph.D. advisor is Professor Santanu S. Dey. We are working in some aspects of (Non-Linear) Integer Programming.

Here is my cv [pdf] and My Gatech Profile..

Research Interests:

  • Theory and Applications of Mixed Integer Linear and Non-Linear Programming.
  • Production Planning.
  • Mathematical Modelling.
  • Operations Research.

Publications:

  • 2011 - Santanu S. Dey, Diego A. Morán R., “Some Properties of Convex Hulls of Integer Points Contained in General Convex Sets”, to appear in Mathematical Programming. [pdf].
