The
Trucking
Industry
Program
(TIP),
founded
in
April
1995
with
the
support
of
the
Alfred
P.
Sloan
Foundation,
contributes
to
the
understanding
of
the
trucking
industry
through
a
multi-disciplinary
approach
involving
faculty
and
students
from
several
U.S.
universities,
including
the
Georgia
Institute
of
Technology,
the
University
of
Michigan,
and

University.
At
present,
twelve

involved
with
TIP
research.
The
Trucking
