Several funding sources are available for talented applicants of the statistics program at ISyE. Most of our students have 1/3-time or 1/2-time assistantships which waives the out-of-state tuition. Highly qualified applicants can earn fellowships, including President's Fellowships ($20,000 paid over four years), President's Minority Fellowships ($20,000 paid over four years), the Regent's Opportunity Scholarship ($5,000 for Georgia residents only), and Georgia Fellowships ($2,500 a year based on economic need).

In addition to these ISyE fellowship opportunities, Shell Oil Co. sponsors two Shell Fellows for current of incoming students in the ISyE Ph.D. program in statistics. Two recipients per year are awarded a one-time allotment of $5,000.
