2008 ASA Quality and Productivity Research Conference

2008 ASA Quality and Productivity Research Conference will be held in Madison, Wisconsin between June 3 to June 6. The theme of the conference is Using Data and Statistics to Discover the Treasure of Knowledge.

This conference will honor Professor George E.P. Box for a Lifetime of Achievement in Statistical Methods and Applications for Quality and Productivity and Professor C.F. Jeff Wu for Seminal Contributions to Statistical Theory and Methods for Quality and Productivity

2008 European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS)

After seven successful conferences ENBIS is happy to announce that our next annual meeting will take place in beautiful Athens, Greece, as usual September 2008 22nd-24th, 2008. As in the past there will be plenty of opportunity to network between statistical practitioners and statisticians from business and industry with academics from all fields of interest to business and industry. Besides talks from the participants there will be several in-conference workshops. Special highlights of the conference will be the pre- and post-conference workshops on "Statistics for the Innovation Process" by Shirley Coleman and Tony Fouweather and "Consultancy Skills" by Roland Caulcutt, a workshop on "Statistical Leadership" by Roger Hoerl and a course on "New Methods in DoE" by Doug Montgomery and Bradley Jones.
