Student Financial Support
Limited funds are available to help support students to attend the conference. To apply for the funding, submit
- your resume
- a statement (< 1 page) about why you are interested in the humanitarian sector
- a transcript
- a reference letter from an advisor
- an estimate of your expenses for the conference
to humlog@isye.gatech.edu with a subject heading of "DPC STUDENT REQUEST" no later than January 10th, 2009.
POSTER SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED
Conference participants are invited to submit a one-page abstract for a poster presentation to be made at the Humanitarian Logistics Conference on Feb 19th. Abstracts should include a title, author(s) with affiliations including email addresses, and should have a maximum length of 300 words summarizing the purpose, scope, methods, results, and conclusions of the work. Please submit abstracts electronically to humlog@isye.gatech.edu as Word documents or Adobe Acrobat pdfs and use 1-inch margins, single spacing, and 12 point Times New Roman font. Guidelines will be distributed for poster preparation. Poster submissions will be judged based on originality, technical quality, and impact of the work. The Deadline for abstracts is now January 20th, 2009.
